I'm using both MT4 and MT5 on different accounts, so the topic applies to both platforms.
I just want to be sure about multiple MT instances opened simultaneously.
My "main" MT instance is always running on the VPS with the MQL5 profile logged in and the signal checkmarks are all checked.
But when I'm doing other stuff on the PC I don't want to back and forth from the VPS, so I also open MT locally to check the trades.
What happens if I run two MT linked to the same trading account simultaneously? Do I receive a double signal (and open double positions) if both MT are logged into MQL5?
Can I locally open a second instance of MT for checking purposes only, if I don't log into MQL5?
