For a friend - Metatrader crashes on startup - build 182

I am posting this for a friend because he has not yet been given forum access and he wants to get started with Metatrader!

1) Install Metatrader trial- OK.
2) Program displays 4 charts - all OK.
3) Exit Metatrader - OK
4) Re-start Metatrader - bring up crash report straight away - not OK.
5) Try again - crash report.

De-install:
1) Uninstall Metatrader
2) Delete c:\program files\metatrader4
3) Install Metatrader again as above- all OK with 4 charts.
4) Program crashes exactly as above on exit and re-entry.

I have tried unloading any unneccessary programs but with no success.

Can someone help and also approve my forum membership?

no any suggestions. may be changed by some third party application system components. mfcXX.dll or so on
