MT3 expert programs in MT4

Is there any way to automatically convert MT3 (3.85 build 185) expert programs (Meta language II) to MT4?
Is there any possibility or have I to do it manually?

No, there is no mql-to-mq4 converter. After finishing my software ZeroCode (an auto mql code generator at fxfisherman.com), I was willing to develop a software to convert mql to mq4 and put it in public domain for use, but now I have changed my mind, because of MetaQuotes Client API's decision. I felt I was rather stupid to give free labour to selfish MetaQuotes. I helped them, but they just ditched me.

sc0rpi0n,

Looking at your own website, it tells me you were NOT giving ZeroCode away for free. Here's a posting from June 7, 2005, well before MT4's final release:

"Because there are only few people who actively participate in beta testing such as giving comments and asking questions, I would like to inform that ZeroCode Final Release will be given for FREE to those who are active only. I want feedback from you after playing with ZeroCode ... Hope you understand."

Vooch,

You can download the Beta 1 version (now the latest version) for free from http://www.fxfisherman.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1182&postcount=23 . I said above statement to speed up the feedbacks stage, so that I have something to continue in Beta 2. Believe it or not, I always listen to my users. Whatever they say, I list the points down at Beta 2 Status thread (http://www.fxfisherman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137), and I am trying my best to fulfill their requests, even though I don't get a penny from them. Can MetaQuotes do that? No.

Anyway, since MetaQuotes ditched Client API, I ditched ZeroCode Support for MQL4. Like I said, I felt I was rather stupid to give free labour to selfish MetaQuotes if I continue MQL4 support. However, I still welcome my members idea toward my decision, and if more people vote for continue, I will. See post http://www.fxfisherman.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1627&postcount=17

:-) Have a nice day,

sc0rpi0n,

Where do I download Beta 2?

Are you going to start charging when you get to Final Release?

Beta 1 is the latest available version. Beta 2 is in development, and it won't be available for purchase, coz it's a hassle when you charge other people's money. I believe in "give and ye shall get" statement; I use other people's FREE softwares; so I think it is quite reasonable to follow this fantastic idea.

Besides ZeroCode, I have developed CSVSplitter which split large csv file into smaller files and MT3 API wrapped in VB.net. All of them are free!

I hope more people can take part in FREE software society.

Download CSV Splitter at http://www.fxfisherman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75

I'm with ya! I run the open source project AIStockBot on SourceForge.

We use CVS to work on the project together. It's the one of the best things I've ever done. Is ZeroCode available via CVS?

I'm afraid its source code is unavailable. Ah, I know you have different definition of the word FREE (free to use, free to modify, and free to redistribute), but mine is "free of cost".

I use Subversion (SVN) with TortoiseSVN for all projects. This free software is my favourite.
