VPS server MT5 didn't initiate my trailing stop loss during quick price movement

I AM NEW TO VPS. I RECENTLY BOUGHT MY FIRST VPS. THIS MORNING MY EA SOLD EURUSD AT PRICE 1.06061.

TRAILING STOP WAS SET 5 POINTS IN THE EA. EVEN THOUGH PRICE WENT DOWN 2 PIPS, THE TRAILING STOP WASN'T INITIATED.

DURING THIS TIME THE PRICE WAS EXTREMELY VOLATILE AND MOVED LIGHTING FAST.

MY QUESTION IS, IS THIS BECAUSE OF SERVER LATENCY THAT THE TRAILING STOP WASN'T INITIATED?

First, unclick your caps lock button.

Then, your trailing stop loss is applied by your EA and your broker, not your VPS.

If the price was moving very fast as you say, it may got where your trailing should be applied but the next instant was far away and couldn't applied.

In such times of very high volatility, nothing works as it should or you would expect to.

Any updates on that? I’m using a trailing stop service, it works when the price is moving slowly, but doesn’t work when the price is very volatile :/
