You can simply force the use of the temporary folder and set the cache file path to the current folder instead.

1. i dont see how your comment relates to the ops question, nor the recent responses.

2. if you are suggesting to use the same cachefile for all instances of mt5, then, that would be stupid thing to do.

3. the size of the cachefile is dynamic; just as the required memory for each instance of mt5 is dynamic, which leads to the common issue that is discussed in this thread; how much memory and drive space is needed for each instance of mt5 depends on the system's specific hardware. For real life example i have 3 different systems, each has a varying maximum of mt5 instances that will load before issues happen. 1 has maximum of 30, while another is 40, while another is just 14.

Side note: if i increase the number of pairs and charts, or maximum candles on each chart, then, these limits will all change too. Similarly -- if i decrease my maximum candles allowed, or close charts and pairs, these hardware requirements will change again. And if i have 200 open trades on mt5, then, my memory used will blow out to up to 2gb if my system has 128gb, while that same 200 open trade -- on just 16gb system mt5 might only use 600mb.
