HELP : MT4 keeps shutting down when I try to access the purchased indicator for 2nd activation on laptop.

Hello,

I am trying to activate a purchased indicator on my laptop.  (2nd activation)

But MT4 keeps shutting down when I try to access the purchased indicator tab.

I have reinstalled MT4 multiple time but the problem still persists.

Under the community tab, i have entered the details of my MQL account which i used to buy the indicator.

And somehow this is causing my MT4 to shut down prematurely.

I believe I have logged out of all MQL accounts using that account access.

Anyone has this issue before and any tips for solving it?

Appreciate any help possible.

1. Make sure you have all Windows Updates installed (including the latest feature update 22H2)

2. Connect to a demo account on MetaQuotes-Demo to update your MT4 to the latest version

3. Do the following:

  1. Close your MetaTrader terminal
  2. Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Community
  3. Delete all files starting from mql4.market.* and mql5.market.*
  4. Open MetaTrader terminal
  5. Try to install product again
