Hello!

They appear on your trade as soon as you open your position, and they are also taken into account in the total P/L.

The commission is calculated as soon as your position opens, while the swap, that may depend for your broker, some activate it after few days if you keep your trade open. In that case, you’ll see it appearing on your trade if it’s still open, otherwise you won’t pay anything.

Thanks for that info.

So on the right hand side of my MT5 that "profit" shows more than the "profit" on the left hand side of the MT5 platform.

So why is the left side profit less?
