I don't think it's anything you're doing wrong, I'd say it's that builder. 

First, go to the end of the of the word copyright, hold shift, end, delete and wipe out all of those escape characters. Next, do the same with the "link" line.

Then, put empty quotes ( "" )  after both the copyright and link.

I did get it loaded but with some errors.

Is there another free builder for MT4?

To be honest, I've never seen one that I would rely on. My best advice would be to learn MQL. It's actually a pretty easy language and you can do so so so much more than any builder can.
