Set a chart up with the RSI and level lines as you require.
Save it as a template and name it Tester.

Brilliant, that works only that it adds a new subchart (the Tester I created) to the tester on top
of the previous rsi subchart. So now I have the original RSI subchart AND the RSI with my settings, that is two subcharts running on the
Strategy Tester. Is there a way to remove the unwated rsi original subwindow?
I guess that the settings for the EA in the saved template should be the same as the settings that the EA uses.
If that doesn't work and you have the EA code, you could add code to draw some horizontal lines in the RSI window.
Hi, many thanks for your answer.
Adding code to draw a line from the EA into the Index Subchart sounds good.
Clearly the EA can query info of the indicator using the handles, however I am not clear how the EA
can set properties or even draw lines on the subwindow of its called indicator.(not sure this is possible)
I am always talking about running the ES on strategy tester, but the question can be extended
to the EA running in real time as well.

My EA uses RSI indicator and when I run at backtest on Visualize I select
"visual mode with the display of charts, indicators and trades".
So the RSI indicator is charted in the subwindow when I run the tester.
My question is:
Is there any way to plot in such indicator subwindow the horizontal lines showing Overbought/Oversold levels?
My question refers always about the indicator subwindow on the strategy tester
Thank you for any advice!
