If you manipulate global application resources in an endless loop in a separate thread, it will start to slow down... regardless of bitmap or anything else (e.g. terminal variable, there is also a "good" penalty)... whatever you optimize.

And copying data in memory is relatively fast, the main thing is that it doesn't affect other threads. But it's not directly related to graphics (same about arrays and matrices, bits, bytes).

Some people say kanvas is super duper, implying that the image is formed quickly. Others say - a lot and often work with the resource saps the tester.

both are right, but argue to the point of bloody snot
