St. Petersburg morning. Artist Nastya Slepysheva
Black Friday. 2016
The Japanese are definitely from another planet ))))
I look at everything and it reminds me:
It was in 2012 when a farmer (Tasmania, Australia) noticed strange clouds and reported them to the local meteorological service.
The farmer's name is unknown and the meteorologist who took his report was Barend Becker.
These clouds have been identified as Lenticular Clouds - a rather rare phenomenon (wikipedia link about them here).
And in the locality of Theesdale in the UK in 2015 there was a heavy (and unexpected) snowfall ...
And these clouds are called Silvery Clouds (wikipedia link here).
They are also called night clouds.
These are the clouds photographed by Andy Barber in Simla, Colorado, USA, in 2015.
------------
That's all about the weather for today.
Have a good night.
