One of the reasons why brokers don't like MT5

For many years now, MT5 has not been able to overtake MT4 in terms of the number of users. Why? One detail has come to light today that does not allow full use of MT5. There are few trading tools and no quotes history for commodities, stocks, indices, etc. I.e. instruments that brokers provide to their clients without any problems. What's wrong with MT5?

Here's a read of the correspondence with a specialist from one of the normal brokers who asked me to try their terms and conditions.

[8:43:03] Ryder Lai: may I know how long is the quote you need to run your EA

[9:52:40] Gennadiy Stanilevych: min 150 bars on W1 charts

[9:54:28] Ryder Lai: I see

[9:54:33] Ryder Lai: we have found the problem

[9:54:59] Ryder Lai: the problem mt5 just been launched

[9:55:58] Ryder Lai: so it can't synchromesh all data

[10:11:43] Gennadiy Stanilevych: when fix it?

[10:14:50] Ryder Lai: due to new version of platform

[10:15:03] Ryder Lai: so if you insist of long histroy

[10:15:09] Ryder Lai: then you have to use MT4

What do you think?

What do you say?

Underline the right thing: broker crookedness/nonsense/cheap excuses.

Take a look at Forts, it has all the data including ticks from 2013 (the start of MT5 launch on Forts). And that's a hundred instruments.

That's harsh, isn't it?

Five, in fact, has a much cooler history functionality.

Personally, I like MT5. And with the introduction of the hedging version, it's just become versatile.

Renat Fatkhullin:
This is a bit of nonsense.

Five has a much cooler story function.

Somewhere in the 90s, there was a rock festival in St. Petersburg - Bees vs. Honey )))

ZS - Yesterday I asked a customer if he's going to upgrade to a fiver. I'm just giving him the theme. I said, let's parallel to the 5.

He replied: "Is that even possible? Come on, I'll pay extra!

I am just saying that people are not aware of the opportunities, I'm getting tired of telling them about the advantages of the 5-Point for, so to speak, the average trader.

What about offline charts in MT5? Are there any?

This is normal brokerage nonsense. You call this a normal broker ?

Vladimir Pastushak:

The usual brokerage nonsense. Is that what you call a normal broker?

Probably a specialist.

bergkamp:
What about offline charts in MT5? Are they available?

Yes. Check out the custom symbols in the latest builds.

Renat Fatkhullin:

Five has a much steeper history functionality.

How then can you explain the fact that the same broker has more trading tools on MT4 than on MT5? Here's an example. The oldest broker is Al-ri. On MT4 CFDs on stocks and indices. On MT5 only currencies.
