I had an idea to create a downgrade - to remove the need for OnTradeTransaction in MT5 when dealing with OrderSendAsync. I didn't get around to it.

The flow is one for one EA. Eight EAs in an account will work without interfering with each other.

I find it strange that you still don't know this. It has been said many times, including by Renat.

The articles used to say that there is one flow per terminal and two EAs will compete. Of course a lot has changed since then, but we need information, not rumours. I don't see anything like that in the docs.

 

The product under discussion can be found on my profile.
It's not perfect, but it worked well. The API for it was never written, because during the whole time of its existence it aroused interest of 2 people.

Official confirmation of 8 trading threads (+1 manual +1 for trailing, if I'm not mistaken) can be found in new build announcements here on the forum.

I also admit that MQ's silence on the possibility itself leads to a lack of demand. I've looked through the release notes and haven't found anything similar, although there is a lot of information - I could have missed it.

It has piqued my interest, but only now. Because it's almost impossible to find anything good in the Market, and it's only like this, almost a direct link, that you can spot Work.

The API is bad. Doing "in the image and likeness"... MT5. Then you don't have to write documentation - it's already there!

Maybe by API you mean exactly that. But why in the image of MT5? MT4.

The documentation doesn't include asynchrony up to 8 threads, the reasons are unknown to me. It actually appeared about three years ago. It seems to be working now, at least it was checked in February. Here is the history of the contest account under the conditions of which the volume of deals was limited by 50 lots, but the number of deals per one instrument was not limited. These were the conditions that required 8 EAs to work simultaneously on 8 charts. At the end of the story, when free funds became abundant, you can see that up to 8 trades of 50 lots were opened in one second.

So there is no asynchronous API in 4. But I personally find it incomplete/uncomfortable in 5.

HI Are the signals in MT5 copied via OrderSend or OrderSendAsync?
