The problem of "overshooting" does not arise out of thin air... It is strictly tied to the trading strategy of the trader himself...

Taking into account that there are a lot of newbies among traders, you should not expect good strategies from them...

... And I didn't know that it wasn't based on bad strategies... And this is a much more serious problem than the petty and farfetched issue of overdoing it...

Nah, it's Alexander Sergeyevich's The Queen of Spades. A classic of the genre - three, seven, ace and a margin call.
