In Greece, a 24-hour general strike against anti-crisis measures led to a massive scuffle with police officers, with five policemen injured, Reuters reported. The protest was organised by Greek unions ADEDY and GSEE, which unite more than half of all working Greeks.

Security forces detained more than 100 people who took part in the rally. Twenty demonstrators are expected to face charges of disturbing public order and defacing property.

More than 50,000 people marched to the parliament building today, shouting slogans against fiscal austerity measures. Demonstrators threw stones and Molotov cocktails at police officers and set fire to a billboard on Syntagma Square in front of parliament and to a tree in the National Garden outside parliament.

The police responded with tear gas. According to the protesters, several people were injured as a result of the police action.

Greece goes on 24-hour strike....

The euro is going to go down, you can bet on it!)))

FRANKFURT, 26 September. /Dow Jones/. The European Central Bank (ECB) cannot promise Greece any further debt relief if it needs it. ECB Governing Council member Jens Weidman said this on Wednesday. Speaking at a joint press conference with Italian Finance Minister Vittorio Grilli, Weidman refused to comment on reports that Greece may need a third aid package. Weidmann said it was best to wait until the "troika" of Greece's international creditors, represented by the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund and the ECB, report next month. Weidmann, who is also president of the Bundesbank, said it was for finance ministers to think about how the Greek funding gap could be filled. "It cannot be filled by the central bank. This is a clear position that I have repeatedly expressed," he said.

The euro is going to go down, for sure!)))

Yep. and the troika is dragging its feet with the report. They either suspend or move it. And with such news... it will collapse when it becomes clear that one cannot hide the truth in a bag. They say that Catalonia is holding a referendum on secession tomorrow, but they have been very quiet about it, it may be a hoax.

ALL SALUTE!!!! The official media reports that the old man with the beard, aka Strenger, aka Bosya the Slant, aka anti-tantrik, aka Roma from the 20th house, aka the gnome (who turned out to be a homo), aka the tongue without bones, aka the weatherman and computer worm, and simply was seen in an intimate relationship with the dollar, and he performed a passive role by twisting $1 notes and smearing them in the harshest way. So, don't listen to the old marozmatic and do as normal people say (Artikul, Solar etc.......) Hi GOMOStrainer. Thanks for the third time you advised me to dump the depo. ..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And with such news... it will be gone, when it becomes clear that it is impossible to hide the truth in a bag. They say that Catalonia is holding a referendum on secession tomorrow, but they are quiet about it, and it may be a duck.
The problem is that the European collective farm is falling apart.) And if Germany withdraws as well ...

ВАШИНГТОН, 26 сентября. /Dow Jones/. Руководители компаний в США
сейчас менее оптимистичны в отношении восстановления экономики, чем
три месяца назад, так как законодателям еще предстоит разрешить
проблему приближающегося бюджетного обрыва.
"Deteriorating expectations reflect lingering concerns about the strength of the recovery, including uncertainty surrounding the looming fiscal cliff and related debates over the tax code, sequester and debt limit"
So whoever moves who will go there :)
