Humour - page 297

Husband:
-Hey my sweetie, what have you been up to today?
Wife:
-I cooked borscht, cooked meatballs, washed the windows, did the laundry. I'm knitting socks, tomorrow if you don't pay for the Internet, I'll kill you...

And bored and sad and with no one to lend a hand
In a moment of heartbreak...
Wish!... What's the use of wishing in vain and forever?...
And the years go by - all the best years!
To love... But who? For a time, it's not worth the trouble,
But it is impossible to love forever.
Do you look within yourself? - There is no trace of the past:
"There's joy and anguish and nothing there...
What of passion? - For sooner or later their sweet affliction
will vanish at the word of reason;
And life, as one looks around with cold attention.

Such an empty and foolish joke...

Come, tomorrow.

It comes to mind. First half of the nineties. Daughter in primary school. Helping my wife and my daughter with a maths problem. She has a college degree, I have an even higher one. So the problem: The shop received five 20 kg crates of potatoes. How many potatoes have been brought to the shop? The answer: 5 crates * 20 kg / crate = 100 kg turned out to be incorrect. The correct answer is 20 kg * 5 = 100 kg.

Similarly, only with a granddaughter. A pool with two pipes. Wrong way of solving it, not the way the teacher thought. Completely lost credibility with the child :))
