FRANKFURT, June 16. /Dow Jones/. The European Central Bank (ECB)on Thursday reiterated its call for "strong vigilance" against inflation risks. This has reassured many observers that the central bank will raise interest rates at its next meeting.

>"As a result, the balance of risks to the outlook for price stability has shifted upwards," the central bank said in the introductory article of its June monthly bulletin. - In line with this, strong vigilance is justified."
