2011.03.31 17:32:03 *Irish banks' capital shortfall is €24bn
will the euve fall?
Analysts at RBC Capital Markets expect Irish banks to need between €15bn and €25bn. 10bn of the Bank of Ireland's €35bn allocation has already been used. The RBC believes that if the published value is within the mentioned range, there will be no impact on the euro. The value above EUR 35bn, which is unlikely, will have a strong negative impact on the European currency, while any figure below EUR 15bn will not give any confidence to the market.
I take it the news should have no impact))
