100yan: If the file is that valuable, you should have made a copy and kept it in a safe place. In general, there are no miracles - if you had done a search, the file would probably have been moved to one of the folders instead of being lost. In case it was deleted, there are programs that can recover deleted files. But it will only work if you have not overwritten the deleted file with some other one. Anyway, you can try it. Here is a link to an archive which contains 2 such programs - one for ntfs, the other for fat. It's helped me out many times. I've restored gigabytes of kiddie pics for my friends. Even after formatting and re-partitioning your hard drive. http://soft.soft-host.ru/utilites/31-getdataback-for-fatntfs-40.html. After installing the software, register it - the serial number is there. Next, you will need to change the language to English. In the menu look for English and after selecting this option click on the left button in the window that appears. In my opinion, it will be installed in German.

Give me the ex4 file - I'll have a look. But if the author's credentials are there, I'll be forced to give you just the credentials. On the other hand, if the Expert Advisor is available in the public domain, why not take the source code from there? Where did you even get this Expert Advisor?

But my MAs are searched only up to period MA=7 when optimizing period from 3 and up to, for example, 10. After that the optimization "does not say anything". For the sake of testing, if I set the period for the testing mode equal to more than 7 (any), testing with visualization is successful. But the optimization for the period greater than 7 - it doesn't want to. What may it be? Below is a piece of code where the difference is calculated. I can lay out the whole code too, but it's 1300 lines.

Stop screwing around! Don't reinvent the wheel, use ready-made solutions in the codebase...

How many times have I tried Code Base, nothing was profitable (haven't fully passed it yet). Otherwise I would have already put it on real. In optimization - good, in the test - bad. Just this search of all MAs in optimization, as it seems to me, will give the best variant of my strategy while there are MA (5), MA(12), MA(18), MA(23) and MA(28). But these may not be the best MAs. And, instead of dealing with each of them (also their intersections), wouldn't it be easier to run a genetic algorithm in optimization to select the best MAs ? So that's the question that came up in my previous post.
