Doesn't sitting on losses lead to a significant increase in drawdown?

His drawdowns are not big, or am I misunderstanding something?

 

Angela, this is a demo report, not a tester report. In the first one, the drawdown is calculated by balance and in the second one by equity. It turns out that the balance is all tip-top, but the equity drops by more than half.

+That is why all martingale strategies come with a demo report. But not from the tester.

 
First of all, the report is from the real world, not from the tester, I have the reports from the tester above... with drawdowns from 17 to 30% ... The drawdowns and profitability is up to the investor ... on the real account I can assure you that both maximum and relative drawdowns should not exceed 10-15% the equity line on the test (and on the real account even less so) is almost identical to the balance line with the frequent overshoot in the greater side.
 
And don't confuse drawdowns with withdrawals...(weekly withdrawals are exactly half)

Calculate the MAE on these 3 trades (1.4208 at 7 am: a rough estimate gives a drawdown by -10*(16*47+14*19+10*17) = -11880 with a deposit of 21600(-55%!) And surprise beautiful reports of MetaQuotes tester (why do not you include MAE in the reports?); in this form this pipsayer, without proper drawdown protection, will inevitably lose investors' money.


This scribe as you put it ... works for half a year on investor accounts ... and for this half year has only 2 losing trades ... (and that through the fault of the CA) and this at the total number of accounts over 50! ..... weekly profit on each from 30 to 400%!!! ( depending on the degree of risk assigned by the investor and the market situation )

You just need the best one that can handle a small depo and not leak.

I'll tell you right away. If you want to use 10k start deposit for an EA, then you don't need it. This is not an Expert Advisor.
