While we're on the subject of cutting, here's a good one.

"This genre..... could include Joseph D'Lacey's stunning book - Meat
Here the author describes a strange community of people (possibly - post-apocalyptic) who "grow and breed" for slaughter - their own kind. For subsequent consumption. Descriptions, often with gruesome, motivated detail. Especially the process of preparing the "slaughter" of the living yet to be slaughtered by the "chosen ones". .
Some of the descriptions of everyday life are told on behalf of such a "bull".
Once read this book will be interesting. But you won't want to reread it later...
========================
"'Meat' is a British Fantasy Award winning novel for best debut. Perhaps due to Stephen King's "Joseph D'Lacey rocks!" review, the publishers defined the genre as a "chilling thriller.

And this is coming from a resident of Izhevsk.

Vinin:

Says the resident of Izhevsk

What's wrong with that?

Mathemat:
A resident of Izhevsk should say: "Finns are feral Udmurts".
If I had written "Umurts", that would have been different, so what if I misspelled it?
