MT4 does not connect with signal provider

Hi all

I try to connect my MT 4 with a signal provider which does not work so far.

In my brokers MT4 I go to „Tools\Options\tab Signals“.

Next to signals there is a link called: „not connected, select from the signals database“.

Then I choose my broker which is listed and then I choose my signal provider.

After clicking on „Copy Trade“ and afther that on the green button „Start Copying in Meta Trader“ the window returns back to the MT 4 signals tab.

Unfortunately everything looks the same as before. The link with the message  „not connected, select from the signals database“.

How can I solve this situation? It can not be the money, I put a deposit on my MQL5 account.

1. you must register at MQL5 

2. you must also Fill the login MQL5 at your metatrader at community section tab.

Thanks for your help. I am registered and everything is set. As soon as I start MT4 the journal tells me that I'm connected with myql5. See attached file.

I suppose there is a compatibility situation. On that laptop I received is still Win XP and IE 8 installed. I will try with a different machine and Win 7.
