non-standard timeframes in MQL4

I don't understand what that means. I saw "off-line" and it made me think it's not useful as the EA  is a trading bot so would need to be online running on the 3 minute time frame.

OK. I see what you're talking about. My EA cycles through multiple instruments. It doesn't run on that one off-line chart. So this solution is not relevant to me. It seems nobody has an answer.

How about using M1 and accumulating 3 candles by yourself ?

If you can adjust all the indicators you need accordingly, it might work.

Btw. you could turn-off (not drawing) the real M1 chart/candles, and display your own customized M3 chart/candles.
