Metatrader 5 Won't open on laptop windows 10 pc

Hi. Can someone help please. I can't open MT5 on my laptop windows 10 pc. When I click on the icon, nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the program. That worked for awhile. But not anymore. MT5 won't open at all now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This question (your question) was asked many times for the several days here so I just summarize everything related to it.

To make to shorter:

• it may be related to MT5 beta build which you installed (the latest release/stable build is 2980, but I prefer 3021 beta as the most stable having all the improvements);
• old Windows versions (32-bit OS is not supported anymore);
• antivirus issue (most of the cases came from this one).
