MT4 Oanda will not launch after install
The problem was with my anti-virus software, I use AVG.
I added an exception to the Oanda Metatrader folder and then everything worked.

Windows 7 extended support period begins in January 2020 when Windows 7 support ended officially, and it ends in January 2023 for good.

Hello, I uninstalled a previous MT4 version with another broker IFCMarkets.
I then installed a newer MT4 version from Oanda (Demo). The installed completes successfully, but the application will not start after I double click Oanda icon. No instance starts in Windows task manager. I can't find a log file.
The folders are created in c:\Program Files(x86)\OANDA - MetaTrader. (which is the 32 bit version)
My computer is Win 7 64 bit.
What could be the problem?
