Get the indicator value for current candle

I am new to mt5 after using mt4 for a while. On my EA i want to get the value of an indicator on the current candle so i use the index of 0, but this gives me the value of the previous candle.

   They all (including iCustom) return a handle (an int). You get that in OnInit. In OnTick/OnCalculate (after the indicator has updated its buffers), you use the handle, shift and count to get the data.
