If it does not help (read post above with link) so change the broker.
Because the charts, the name of the pairs on the charts, the price on the charts and the time of the price on the chats are related to the broker only.

Hey there,
Thanks for the feedback! I am using Oanda and they are one of the biggest, so I doubt it has to do with the broker! I will go through your links now.
here's how you can get all available from your broker.
- On MT4: Most brokers only have 32 or 65K bars of history per timeframe. That's 45 days of M1, 2.5 years on M15, etc.
- Quickly DL all available history from your broker: Problem loading historical data - MQL4 programming forum (2010.03.16)
You are missing trading opportunities:
- Free trading apps
- Over 8,000 signals for copying
- Economic news for exploring financial markets

Hello there,
I seem to have a lot of time gaps on my charts and it is making things quite difficult! Ill give one example: on GBP/USD, the chart is missing all data from July 30th to Aug 19th
THINGS I HAVE TRIED:
Uninstalling and reinstalling the MT4 app.
redownloading history in data center on all time frames
I really appreciate any help I can get!!
