my Expert Advisor does not work on VPS

I used to compile my EA and synchronize it to vps and it worked .

not any more. the old compiled files work but new compiled ones do not work.

even if you recompile an old EA, it will not work on VPS.

it work local.

Join the queue, mhchaoui. Many of us are experiencing this same issue since last MT4/MetaEditor update. As said in other topics, latest build 2382 seems not to be fully compatible with the VPS environment.

Let check your MT4 or MT5 version, version on VPS must higher your version.

Same issue with me and very frustrated as there is announcmet for the issue or the soluation or service level

if your ea doesnt work,

  • restart your chart MT4

  • update new vertion MT4

  • or your EA use old vertion

All VPS servers were updated.

Please migrate your EA again if you faced this error on rented VPS


 
Hello kind people, thanks in advance, i have bought one EA and its ex4, so i dont have the source code
the problem is, just subcribe to new vps to run the EA with the same set used (default setting, working fine with previous VPS)
but the settting doesnt work at the new VPS, ie. all the lot not increase as usual,just 0.01, as it supposed to increase the lot, i have tried with friends vps and home pc as well, the set working fine
the lot increased but not at the new VPS?is there any reason for this, how can different VPS cannot detect the setting? its possible?? can someone help me to explain?

There is a known bug in the latest MT4 1421 build affecting some VPS CPUs, where the lot size calculation is incorrect, defaulting to 0.01 as the minimum lot size.

MetaQuotes is aware of the issue and is working on a fix, which will be included in the next MT4 update.
