I'm trying to install a demo of <deleted> (a trading bot) on MT4, but I keep getting this error message...
What does that mean? Only one subscription of free minutes allowed? So do I have another free subscription on MT4 somewhere that I'm not aware of?

That message has to do with VPS subscription. It has nothing to do with product purchase. When you buy a product, ignore the message about needing a VPS to best run it. That is just misleading MetaQuotes advertising. Use a VPS only if you really need it.
