When plotting EMA's, using the shift physically moves everything over X amount of bars. In my case I'm using -4 for both (capture.png).
How do you do that with IMACD? When i use shift there with -4 as the shift value it gives me the value 4 bars to the left instead of physically shifting it 4 bars to the left.
Essentially I am wanting to drag the entire MACD over 4 bars to the left (capture1.png).
If i cant drag it over then i will use iEMA with a shift where i can calculate the MACD with EMA2 - EMA1 however I have zero idea how to calculate the signal line.
Any ideas?
