balance backtesting when cent account

hi

i want to test an EA on a cent account with 1000 'real' dollars, so 100.000 cents.

I wonder: when i want to test in the strategytester, what do i have to put in as balance? i guess 100.000 usd?

You can put 1000 Dollar as opening account balance or you can put 100000 cent as dollar. If you test with 100000  cent, then your test result must be divided by 100 to have real value in dollar.

thanks   so if i understand right: my real account is 1000 dollar in real dollars, so 100000 dollarcent.

Exactly.... Say you want to put 9000 cent in your real account, better test your EA with 9000 dollar. You will get clear idea....
