Slippage is the difference (in points or pips) from the level that a trade is supposed to be opened, from the price that is actually opened, due to market/price fluctuation.

In the Slippage tab of MQL5 Signals for example this price difference is in points.

I think this is important for pending order not important for live by/sell

It depends on how well your strategy will tolerate entry far from the main entry point.
