if you want a beast with a desktop CPU in a laptop, I'm thinking of the ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC... but power comes with a price tag

I want to buy a computer to make optimization faster, I read open threads about it, but I want somthing updated for these days.
What do you recommend?
i7? i9?
8GB, 16 GB, 32 GB of RAM?
what are the importent parts? I guess GPU and screen resolution are useless for optimization...
Do you have a recommended laptop?
