VPS synch to platform

Hi

I have a VPS listed in the Navigation window, do I need to do anything to synch the trades/positions so that I can see the trading activity on my local MT4 that has happened on the VPS or it is automatic show?

You should sync first.

MQL5 VPS is your "second Metatrader in cloud" - read this post for morke explanation: post #6 
so, if VPS and your "home Metatrader" are on same trading account - you will see the trades (by login your "home Metatrader" to the same trading account).
