Fisher Transform MTF Multi Time Frame - MT4

Hi,

I couldn't find a MTF version of the Fisher Transform indicator so i decided to create one and post below.

Please note, this is only a quick mock up, so there could be various bugs etc.

Example interesting results can be seen on the following for EURUSD:

Set colours to None for indicator buffers 1 and 2. This will then only draw the Fisher line for fisherTimeFrameA and the Trigger line for fisherTimeFrameB.

i) Apply indicator to the M15 chart, and set fisherTimeFrameB to H1.
Consider trades in the direction of the Fisher M15 line.

ii) Apply indicator to the H4 chart, and set fisherTimeFrameB to D1.

Consider trades in the direction of the Trigger D1 line.


I am aware that the values of the Fisher/Trigger lines for higher time frames are incorrect, but the crossovers are worth noting.

If trying to use this indicator for your own strategies, i would recommend maybe using a level filter, greater than or equal to 1 and -1, and/or another indicator altogether.

I may create an EA based around this indicator, so any further input would be greatly appreciated :)
