Hi,
I was trying to upload to the Market a free EA that does not open any trades automatically, but does help users to open/close/control their trades.
For example, a EA that puts trailing stops on trades that are already running, using only mouse clicks (there are buttons for that on the chart).
Or a EA that opens trades and/or pending orders (for example, the user types the lot size, TP, SL on a text box that is on the chart and click buy/sell/pending orders etc).
These are EAs that does not open trades automatically, but they are made for convenience or to give traders more agility/control over their trades.
The problem is that when we upload a EA to the market, there is a automatic validation process. If it detects that the EA does not open a trade automatically, the EA is rejected.
My question is: Only EAs that open trades automatically are allowed on the market? What about EAs for convenience, like placing stops, trailing, etc. These are not allowed?
