What does these mean and do all brokers offer these?
As I understand it, brokers have the ability to add a prefix or suffix to symbol names. Why? For their own purposes. I've not actually seen a prefix, but I have seen suffixes like you have mentioned.
So if you are writing an EA or Indicator for sale or public consumption that inputs symbol names, you would want to handle this.
