Restore code of EA after crash

Tried it before with plain windows notepad. All empty.
Notepad++ shows me a long row of black blocks filled with NUL. Doesn't look so good for me.
Four days of hard work gone. Now I'm bothering with the same problems I solved before.
Should have backup more often.
Anyway thank's for your help.

Hello everyone,
after compiling I started an optimization with multiple symbols. While it was running my pc crashed with a blue screen.
After restart I checked my EA and all the code is lost. I have a 4 days old backup, but all recent changes are gone.
However, the source file is still 168 KB and the compiled program is existent. So something has to be remained.
But neither the MetaEditor can open the source file nor the MetaTrader can open the program.
Can I somehow restore the code?
