if you don't try, you'll never know.
perhaps start with an amount that you are conformable to lose (worst case).

It will probably work on live but you need to check the spread because sometimes demo accounts have lower spreads (EURUSD 0.1) but when you go live you can see higher spreads (EURUSD 1.2). So make sure your demo and live accounts are exactly the same type.
