question about working of experts

Hi,

I use some MT4 experts from mql5 'expert' site (some free, some payed). 

Now i wonder: what if the maker of that expert decide to remove the expert from mql5 site? Can't i use the expert than not more in my MT4? Is there some 'permanent' connection necessary between the expert and mql5 website, or between the expert and the maker of it, or something? 

Maybe some one can explain a little how the mql5 experts are working. Because i use some experts now and i'm very happy with them so i want to be sure that i can continue to use them 'forever'.

if you bought it you can use it lifetime 

if you rent it and the author remove it after you rent, you can use it only rental period which you choose

"Forever" is such a strong word. One day MT4 will go away . . . .
