Hello, i'm trying to find out does a registered Signal Seller on mql5.com has to be a so called licensed Investment Advisor (or anything else?) to be able to perform copy trading activities and sell them via mql5.com to subscribers worldwide?
By law in many countries, to independenlty offer forex signal/copy services one has to have such license. So, I assumed that MQL5.com is registered and licensed as a Investment Advisor, but this is not the case as per "Terms of Use " page over here:
"8.2. MQL5 Ltd IS NOT A REGISTERED INVESTMENT ADVISOR, BROKER/DEALER, FINANCIAL ANALYST, FINANCIAL BANK, SECURITIES BROKER OR FINANCIAL PLANNER. MQL5 IS A TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER WHICH AMONG OTHER THINGS FACILITATES THE SHARING OF TRADE INFORMATION VIA THE INTERNET. USERS OF THE SERVICE MAY USE THE TRADE INFORMATION TO FORMULATE THEIR OWN INVESTMENT DECISIONS WHICH COULD BE TO COPY THE TRADES OF OTHERS. "
So, is a Seller a Investment Advisor?
Anyway, please advise, what should a Seller do to not have any legal/law problem/issues bacause of a specific national financial regulatory authorities/government bodies like those listed here:
