Dynamic Balance Point - Support & Resistance:

Based on the original Dynamic Balance Point, this version is a bit cleaner and simpler to use indicator.

Colors of this version can be used as a sort of trend determination and the values can be used as support or resistance.

When I add this indicator to the chart, I cannot see anything.

Would you please see the problem?

Hi Mladen,
The indicator is not displayed on the graph in the current MT5 (build 3091).
Also playing with the parameters and "refresh" the graph didn't fix the problem.

Downloaded it from the link, attached to the chart, and this is what I get 

Hence, nothing needs to be changed

Really interesting problem and situation!
Still nothing appears on the chart (?)

If it's ok with you, I'd be happy to point the issue (via PM) to you with TW, AnyDesk etc. (?) 
Maybe we can find a first-hand solution to the problem.

Only 1 indicator loaded "This One"

Dynamic Balance Point Period = 10

Dynamic Balance point time frame = 5 Minutes 

Nothing on the screen.

Friday afternoon. No new ticks for that symbol.

Guys, please do not misunderstand me :

  • the issue with some "other time frame" built in functions is well known 
  • it was reported multiple times
  • it was never fixed

Even though that code is old code and I would never write that particular code now that way (ie: using higher time frame data) it still remains that the issue is when CopyTime() (or any function that is trying to get other time frame data) is used on a symbol that does not have new ticks coming in and then you get no data

And if we would rewrite all the stuff that some time ago worked OK but on some new build it does not (work OK in some cases any more) then where would be the end? Where is the backwards compatibility?

Hence, till someone of the platform developers does something on built in mt5 functions (and more) ...
