Are you running some Windows 10 beta version by the way? People were complaining about MTs not working in latest updates, so it might be a fix for that and not intended for earlier Windows (like mine).
I'm interested because a few weeks ago I asked in Service Desk about MT5 dark interface theme or at least better support for Windows dark themes and they didn't shut me off. I'm curious if MQ did something about it.

It seems nobody has MT4 build 1118, so it's impossible to answer your questions before sorting the situation.
It seems that Metaquotes launched an update but removed after a short time.

Judging by the way you handle the file sharing link I can only imagine what this poor 1118 build has had to endure.
I found a similar update to MT5, build 1795. Mine only updates to 1755 (on Windows 8.1) and it's the last one to have release notes on metatrader5.com site. 1795 doesn't have what I want.
