A beginners question about EA

I am an absolute beginner in EA. I want to know a basic thing. For an EA to work, do I have to keep my computer on. I am saying this because Take Profit and Stop Loss works even when the computer is off. So do I have to keep the computer on for an EA to work ?

Yes, computer should be on in case EA is openning the trades. And if EA is using trailing stop so it should be on too.

So, it is better to keep it on all the time except weekends.

Hi, you can use a VPS server solution, some brokers offer for free to their customers.

Also, you can create an Intraday strategy EA or select just days and/or time you would like to let your computer on, as a workaround solution.
