It seems that independent trades i open on my account are being closed by the signal provider for trades that they open on the same currency pairs.

If you subscribe to the signal so you should not use this account for your trading. Anyway - you can read Frequently Asked Questions about the Signals service (first page of the thread - it should be written something about it).
