What makes you think that the Dollar is the world's most important currency ?

For at least 70 years, the US dollar has been the world’s dominant currency. Central banks around the world hold a large portion of their reserves in the US currency, while private companies use it for international transactions.

Oh no ! Apocalypse now, I did give already. Then I don't think there's a "leading" currency, I rather think it's about a consensus, the dollar like there's the fahrenheit & the celsius.

Any views on the ongoing debate instead ??

I know it is Saxo Bank but ... actually I remain dubious about it would be too complicated to restructure the whole model to just get an "alternative" with another currency. I think that if it happens one day, it'll be a major change, like using a decentralized currency as reference.
