Discussion of article "Evaluation of Trade Systems - the Effectiveness of Entering, Exiting and Trades in General"
Nicholas, thank you for your labour.
If it is possible to change the drawings of entry and exit. Take a screen of MT and draw directly on it, entry, exit, minimum, maximum. It will be clearer to many people. Denote them somehow and right under the drawing formulas, the efficiency of entry, exit. It's too abstruse and incomprehensible. The idea is simple, but very effective, at least I think so.
Your opinion, as you are well enough to spin this indicator.
1.Is there anything better than these three optimisation parameters?
2.Are you going to check your TCs by these parameters or will you use the default ones?
I also use input/output efficiency (not as optimisation parameters) when analysing trading systems.
If the system is profitable only due to efficient entries, but poor exits (or vice versa), it means that it is still far from perfection, it can and should be improved.
I would like to see input/output efficiency indicators in the standard MT5 tester report.
I would like to see I/O performance metrics in the standard MT5 tester report.

These requests are at least three years old (if not more), maybe at least your words will be listened to.
Z.y. traders I appeal to you, at least put pluses in this topic, then the developers will at least see that it is necessary (important) not only for 4 traders.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, I don't have time to edit anything now.
The article was intended as an application of Bulashev's statistics,
but in the process of developing it, the transformation itself came first,
to be able to evaluate these factors.
Having the transformation, it is possible to expand the evaluation of trade in general as well as to develop new optimisation criteria.
I plan to conduct a large research on this topic. Frankly speaking the article was difficult to write.
All the more pleasant are the evaluations of the importance of the raised topic.
ZY I agree with Beter, such an assessment should be in a standard report because it allows you to look at trading from the inside.
allows you to look at trading from the inside (evaluate trading decisions).
I too use entry/exit efficiency (not as optimisation parameters) when analysing trading systems.

New article Evaluation of Trade Systems - the Effectiveness of Entering, Exiting and Trades in General is published:
There are a lot of measures that allow determining the effectiveness and profitability of a trade system. However, traders are always ready to put any system to a new crash test. The article tells how the statistics based on measures of effectiveness can be used for the MetaTrader 5 platform. It includes the class for transformation of the interpretation of statistics by deals to the one that doesn't contradict the description given in the "Statistika dlya traderov" ("Statistics for Traders") book by S.V. Bulashev. It also includes an example of custom function for optimization.
