Is This The Longest Running Gap In Euro-Usd ? - page 3

Chris Mukengeshayi: I had first check the chart you had shared, I couldn't get it easily, until I check close and try to interpret what the indicator reflected for the past history then I understood that when the bar keep rising, chances are there could be a gap forming since the EUR is getting stronger and stronger it is likely. Tomorrow if Nonfarm Payrolls come very positive we could have a down gap on Monday, vice versa.

The Gap Indicator on the Chart does not predict anything. It just shows the gap size ( [Week Open] - [Previous Week Close] ).

Gaps are instant (on the open) and they don't form over time! They can however fade, or fill, most of the time, and that is one of several possible strategies you can use on them!

PennySeven:

Gaps during the Monday to Friday trading week are extremely rare in the EuroDollar market in normal trading conditions. Obviously, there are many week-end gaps.

There is no gap theory for trading the EuroDollar like for trading shares.

I Used To trade gaps a lot

not anymore after Brexit and french election :))

Fernando Carreiro:
