lots of good pointers but not with regarding having a margin check to avoid a margin call.

so assuming all open positions have SL set the factors on validating margin would entail risk,

limiting risk factors of stops and their lots means cannot open a trade that causes margin call.

I tried the code snippet for "reducing risk related to high volatility at the moment of a market entry" in my own EA, and noticed that zero trades were being taken. Only then I remembered that my expert advisor was a break-out strategy, so this could never be a good match. In any case this article is full of innovative ideas and proves the author has a lot of hands-on trading experience. It made it to my all-time top ten list of Metatrader articles.

Yes you are right, i made an error asserting this.

But there is too many conditions : 39 conditions are linked with an "&&".

These conditions cannot be true at the same time  =>  the EA do not open any

order.

But I understand the idea which is good,

Any trader has to look for that kind of idea
