Is it possible to use iCustom to call an EA instead of an indicator, so that I can use CopyBuffer to get one of the plots?

Not possible to use iCustom for that.  Sorry.  You will have to evaluate other options.  Regards.

The EA and indicator need to be activated all the time, while the indicator needs to read the global variables coming from the EA.

Ok. Bummer... but ok. So, if I am going to use global variables, is there a unique identifier that I can create the global variable names from, .. within the indicator?  There will be many charts using this EA/Indicator combination. It is also possible for there to be multiple charts for the same currency pair, but different time frame. I know that I have to tackle the buy sells within the same currency pair... shouldn't be an issue. But, I need to make sure these variable can't be confused and used by the wrong instance.

Thanks,
